Medieval Banquet
New for 2011, we are introducing an Irish Medieval Banquet Friday night from 5 pm – 7 pm in our Pub Tent. Be a guest of Lord John and Lady Marilyn for a very enjoyable dinner show. Special performances by members of the Oshkosh West Madrigal Singers, directed by Lord Herb Berendsen. Limited Seating. Tickets are $45 each, includes a five-course meal prepared by The Roxy Restaurant, Complimentary Mead, Beer, Wine or Soda, and a weekend admission pass to the festival. Menu includes Cream of Corned Beef and Cabbage Soup, Assorted Flat Breads, Guinness Braised Beef Ribs, Irish Whiskey Chicken Leg, Shamrock Pork Cutlet, Irish Vegetable and Potato Pancakes, and for dessert Bailey's Irish Cream Brownie.
Cultural Village
Come and visit the expanded Cultural Village with interesting and informative displays of Irish History and Culture. Listen to our Story Tellers and other scheduled presentations held throughout the day. Stop by the booths and talk to our experts on many Irish & Celtic topics. Come meet our Celtic Canines and watch the Currach boat demonstrations.
Little Leprechaun Land
Bring the wee little ones and enjoy the many fun things we offer for children. Special games and appearances, putt-putt golf, inflatable castle bouncy, crafts, and contests are just some of the fun stuff for kids. Build, Create, Play… all while learning a wee bit about Ireland.
Irish Fest Mass
Our special outdoor Liturgy will be held Sunday morning at 10:00 am. Celebrant is Fr. Bill Hower. An offertory collection will be held benefitting St. Jude's Parish, Oshkosh. Thank you to the Knights of Columbus Honor Guard and Ancient Order of the Hibernians for their assistance. Admission to the festival for those attending the mass is FREE with a donation of non-perishable food to the Salvation Army. Salvation Army volunteers will be on hand to collect your donations.
Irish Fest 5k
The Irish Fest 5k Charity Run/Walk, benefitting Cerebral Palsy of Mideast Wisconsin will kick off Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. Participants will receive an event t-shirt, Irish Fest running socks, chip timing, drinks and snacks all while supplies last. Participants receive free admission to Irish Fest all day on Saturday and a chance to win a brand new running outfit up to a $175 value from Run Away Shoes. This special drawing will be held after the Irish Fest 5K at 1:30 p.m. on Main Stage. Winner of the drawing MUST be present. Names will be drawn until a winner is present! Only $15 if registered before May 15th, $20 after, or $25 if registering at the event. For advance registration, you can register online, by mail, or you can register in person at Run Away Shoes (stores in Oshkosh, Appleton, and Green Bay) or CP of Mideast Wisconsin (36 Broad St. Oshkosh). Trip to Ireland Raffle
The Cerebral Palsy of Mideast Wisconsin organization is again conducting a raffle during Irish Fest to help raise money for their programs. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20 and can also be purchased at the CP office.
Guinness Irish Toast Contest
Irish Toasts are synonymous with Ireland. So help celebrate this unique aspect of the Irish language by competing in the Guinness Irish Toast contest. Call the Irish Toast Hotline at 920-358-3033 to enter your toast for a chance to win the many prizes. Finalists will compete on the Pub Stage Saturday June 4 at 7:30 pm. Be sure to leave your phone number so we can contact you.
Fireworks Extravaganza
